Post Elation Blues

Last week was stellar in terms of gains for the Water Stories project. Sometimes you can ride a wave of energy that is even further fueled by more success, and you shoot off and ride that wave even further than you expected. The level of creativity and possibilities was prolific. This week has been difficult in terms of energy, the lack of it to be precise. I feel like I could sleep for a few days, and yet all of the busy-ness of the business of organizing for the journey continues to buzz around in my mind, keeping me awake, not letting me rest and culling even more of my energy.... sleeplessness, busy mind, chuntering away, feeling fractured. Thinking about my health, my level of natural strength, what I will need to do in order to do the job well in physical terms is also part of the balanced organization of this journey as a photogrpaher. The only thing to do is feel it, realize I need to rest, and ...rest. Talk soon.
